Sach clutch
« on: May 29, 2012, 09:12:41 pm »
Anyone know why this is cheap? As I would really love to buy it because it would save me some right money.

Thank you in advance,
Ben

That is cheap but get the part numbers from the seller to confirm compatibility.

I know my original flywheel was LUK so I replaced it with LUK and the Sachs clutch. I presume the Sachs flywheel and clutch combo would be fine but don't quote me. I would imagine you could return it anyway.
At that price I'd snap it up if the part numbers match the upgraded clutch.

also ebay are giving out a 10% voucher which is valid till 3rd but only selected few have it, that could make the kit even cheaper!  :rolleye:

I thought there were a few types of Sachs clutch's. The performance line and regular line. Could be wrong but doesn't seem to say sachs performance anywhere. Depends if that was the reason why you wanted to go for it, worth checking part number etc to make sure you are getting what you think. Normally you would pay a good £900 for the flywheel, performance clutch and slave.

I have decided not to buy. Where could I get a genuine sachs clutch upgrade?
