Exhaust adjustment
« on: June 01, 2012, 10:48:31 pm »
Had my Blueflame system installed though noticed that the right tailpipe of the twin (standard GTI - twin on left side) is slightly lower than the right.

Need to straighten it up though the garage is closed until next week so was going to do this myself.

How easy is this to do.....has anyone had this sort of thing before....It's only 5mm or so though I notice.

Should have checked properly when I picked it up though was too eager to get out in the car.

IMO let the garage sort it out next week.
Without traction power is nothing!

Will get to the garage next week. Had  look under the car in between rain and it seems like the last bracket just needs loosening and then the rear section turning slightly.

Am i just being fussy???

Excuse the crap on the bumper......lot cleaner now  :ashamed:

might be a case of undoing the clamp and twisting it slightly

Might try myself when it dries up a bit....

Absolutely safety first. Thanks.

Car is almost there now, just intake and then I'm finished so these little things just need tweaking to be perfect.
