I managed 402 miles to a tank, on the return journey to Alton Towers, with 10 miles to go on the range... computer averaged 38.8 mpg  :happy2:

That was the last time I ran a full tank!

I think I may have deleted VW's efforts with the combination of the remap and my heavy right foot TBH Gray!

105 miles off a brimmed full tank of 100ron fuel at the Nurburgring. I was between the gantry and bridge when I looked it said 5miles of fuel left and I still had to do all the GP short track to get back to the pitlane. Said 105 miles for the tank as I was filling her back up. :driver: Took 58 litres to brim it back up, so must have been stone cold empty :scared: 8.2mpg average.

Beddie, what the hell were you doing to manage 55 miles to a tank at the 'ring!!! :surprised:
Golf R gone.

I can only manage 230-250 miles to a tank and that's taking it easy.

Is there a problem with mine as I've see some of you guys are getting average of 300 miles

My car is ko3 on stage 2+ R-tech map

Is that 230 miles Driving Miss Daisy or 230 miles "a la" Lewis Hamilton? if Miss Daisy then you might want to check PCV or coil packs. Your Map can also make a difference. No biggy though.

Pumping 100 Ron straight outta the exhaust by the sounds of it!
Done 6 trips in the golf and it's always been the same, uses a 1/4 tank per lap regular as clockwork and usually get the fuel bong around Pflanzgarten on lap 3, straight up nearly laid a log the first time it happened...

God knows why it's so bad on fuel on track, you can literally watch the gauge dropping.. :scared:

I was at the ring last weekend in an R32 and that used LESS than 1/4 tank a lap. The Astra VXR with us was using 1/4 tank a lap. Turbo cars = thirsty at the ring  :sad1:
