Milltek Resonated
« on: June 05, 2012, 12:04:53 pm »
Hi all, I've had a quote of £564 fitted for an Edition 30 Milltek cat-back resonated exhaust, does this seem reasonable?

Although I don't have the Edition 30, I think the back-box is a bit smarter and will probably have better future value for when I eventually sell. I'm on my fourth car and this is my first major mod, pretty excited

Does changing exhaust have any effect in terms of emission lights etc?

Cheers  :happy2:

Have a look at Awesome GTI for a price on that exhaust as I got my R32 style Milltek cat back from there £100 cheaper than anywhere else, make sure you ring sale's and do it as the price's online are not the same, any exhaust place will be able to fit it for you but it will need a exhaust pipe reducer(Milltek do one),it will not throw up any error's or emission light's on the dash! :happy2:

You shouldn't get an emission light with just changing the cat back exhaust.
Without traction power is nothing!
