Have you got a Highline cluster (full size screen on clocks) and MFSW (buttons on steering wheel)?

If you have then try get into the Convenience Menu and see if there is an option to reactivate them.

There's a moral to this story read your manuals!!  :signLOL: Thank you so much.  I went to the convenience menu and all I had to was activate it.  Its also in the manual.  It now works,  Im very chuffed with it.  Thanks for helping me.  I've got highline cluster and MFSW.

I'm a man.

Therefore I only need to read the manual after I've broken it.

Shadow blue DSG 5 door with leather, sunroof, 18" Monzas, MFSW.
Full list of mods:  Seat inserts and a VW bottle opener.  Each worth 20bhp.

Happy days.

The reactivation method of power windows I described should work from now on when battery power is lost/restored.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)
