Good evening and welcome

Hi all, been lurking on here for a week or 2, but finally got around to buying a MK5 GTI, off autotrader, pick it up later this week, cant wait,
Bit about me, been on golfgti forum for a short while, at the moment have a MK3 16V, had a Leon before that, Polo before that and a 72 beetle before that, so been into VW's for a while now,
Im 27, live in Wolverhampton, Married with 1 dog, and have been a police officer for around 2 years now, (before everyone boo's, im a fair police man, and only give tickets to complete morons!)
Loved the MK5 from day 1, and can't wait to update it, and spec it out nice and classily, first job, new gearstick, steering wheel and wheel refurb, or new wheels, whatever!!!

No pics yet, don't pick it up until next week, waiting for me tesco loan to come through, HURRY UP!!!!
Nothing special really, just a bog standard 5 door, but like I said, looking forward to a bit of modding, sills, rear bumper spray, exhaust etc...
