skoda columbus to vw logo and colour??

have the option to get a led screen skoda columbus for a good price.

has anyome managed to change the logo and the colour to red? if so what software was used and what strps were taken?

am i right in thinking theyre the only differences?

You would need RNS manager and the appropriate cable to connect to the rear of the HU.

Only people I know of with it are vRStu and Eddie_NL.

Might be worth PM'ing one of those two. I know Stu is away at the moment though and won't be back till the weekend.

iv noticrs the skoda rns goes for cheaper then the vw one on ebay a lot..

I have a rns 510 in my skoda,  I would be intrested in swapping it for the Columbus

I have done the change just to see if it does work you can get the start up screen on then once the firmware is put on it works fine BUT unless you go to the extent of changing all the little SMD lighting in the front panel for the all the buttons then it will still be red not green.

as above, needs fw changing with RNS manager and the SMD leds will need swapping out.

i can do the led swap for you but rns manager is something in dont have. best bet is to swap them
