^Absolutely... and if you have an easy colour to match like Black, you may not require a blend, depending how picky you are. I replaced the boot of my Black 3 door and I cannot tell the difference between the bumper/wings and boot. Make sure the sponge is cut back before the new wing is added, as it will only happen again.
VW paid 100% of mine. When they completed the work they told me the warranty didn't include blending. I went nuts.It is noticeable that it is a different colour and I'm a bit disappointed with it all.Going to look for a used steel grey wing and just run the risk of that one going to pot aswell.
