Grow up Sammy. you will have problems with an engine conversion, everyone that's done a conversion will tell you that, They' be issues whether there big or small. I think you should take the advice given from other members as your the one posting all these threads begging for advice. Also I dont think you should comment on anyone cars being specs in your rear view as your car is the only one not moving

Seriously stop feeding him, let him go spend his cash and have the fastest golf in the land. He came, he asked and he didn't like the answers.

The end

Why should it bring any issue? It's like buying a car isnt it? You don't know if it will cause you a problem till you have it, LOL cost more to tune? Now thats funny do u not know this engine is identical but stronger?
Difficult to sell? I don't think so with the amount people that come offering cash to me, even still am not thinking about selling now just spending, tuning, and grinning

Why should it bring issues? Your swapping the engine from another car...into yours...an engine your getting off ebay(i think). I know its going to bring issues from the countless threads on the subject, from the people who actually planned the process correctly and still met walls.

You know if a new car is going to cause you issues because you can test drive and you get a warranty.

I have a feeling i know more about the engine and associated costs than you do and im not even planning a swap.

I'd give your insurance a call BEFORE you make the change.

Im not going to get involved in your posts any longer i feel that your reply's have become far too immature and you seem to be bent on just attempting to prove opinions wrong than take sound advice.

I even get a feeling that your actually a VXR driver who has come here to troll

What car did you have before the GTI, Sammy? And did you modify it?

[Btw I have nothing against VXR's]

Read the thread till about page 15...  :happy2:

Any engine conversion is possible, it's just how deep your pockets are... But either send to someone or get someone to help you that knws what they are doing... see if you can get a complete engine with ecu etc...

"La la la la la la la la la........."

Seriously though, I'm sure you'll go down the route you want to, irrespective of what advice you are given from people on here, most of who are only trying to help.

Good luck with where you end up!

It is turning into the forum soap opera though..  Don't miss the next gripping instalment....

The golf R engine isn't a straight swap.
