Best thing you could do sammy is take that golf of yours and box it off down the scrappy! Then go buy your self a new motor which you will never get the urge to attempt to modify  again! :happy2:

Perfect advice for yourself just apply it

Sammy what were your exact engine fault codes and when are/were you booked in with R-tech?
Are all your plugs oily or just one?

Well I took it to a specialist and they said its the turbo gone, so I changed it for another k04 and seems the oil is still dropping faster then usual although the misfires have seemed to stop, I was booked in for r tech on the 11th of June but obviously due to this it can't be mapped, the exhaust is still smoking although reduced now,
And for the plugs it seemed plug from cylinder 2 kept having the problem and the rest follows,
It's been like this for a few weeks now and to end the problem I have decided to just change the engine incase when the engine is opened up I don't start getting scary costs for replacement parts because god knows what is wrong down there

I was just thinking the excess fuel would create a lot of smoke. A guy on Briskoda had a faulty injector which made cylinder 2 plug black and oily and threw a lot of white smoke out with misfires.
I would get a K04 base map put on ASAP, certainly before the new engine.

That sound like sense to me definitely my symptoms, injectors woudnt come up on the diagnostics would it? Hmm i might just put old injectors back on and see the outcome, I spoke to r tech about it but they said they won't map with the white smoke on it, just getting it mapped could sort it maybe

Did this guy lose a lot of engine oil?

Injectors were second hand from vrs Alex which he said were almost new...
This thing just goes from 1 thing to the next
Anyway I don't think there's any point of me hanging around to try new things is there its just going to cost more

If it was me I wouldnt bother with an engine swap. You may get conversion issues with looms and software etc and be worse off. I would take yoir car to a company who do these conversions on a weekly basis and may see what the issue is straight away without spending loads of money. There is no point spending money for the hell of it mate. It could be something as simple as an injector not fitted correctly etc
