If it was me I wouldnt bother with an engine swap. You may get conversion issues with looms and software etc and be worse off. I would take yoir car to a company who do these conversions on a weekly basis and may see what the issue is straight away without spending loads of money. There is no point spending money for the hell of it mate. It could be something as simple as an injector not fitted correctly etc

Your quiet right mate can you recommend anyone I could go to? Maybe they could do logs and other stuff to direct me

Statllers in Sheffield who were mentioned in one of your first threads, they have done numerous of engine conversions etc and are one of the best in the industry, if anyone can resolve your issue then it will be them.

What I find odd is that when people including myself mentioned fitting a new engine you stated there is no way you could afford it yet now you act as if you have won the lottery and you couldn't care less how much money you throw down the drain.

With the greatest respect please ask the mods to delete this thread as it's painful watching you go round in circles and asking the same questions a hundred times over, yet you never seem to absorb anybody's advice as you think you know best.

....I don't agree. I think this thread should be kept as a shining example of how not to. It could be locked though at some stage in the future but I think we'd first like to read and learn how Sammy eventually resolves his problem.

It's certainly a good example of how not to problem solve, maybe a locked sticky at the top of the thread may be a better option.

This thread will keep on dragging on and to be honest some people just can't be helped and this is a textbook example of that.

Entertainment wise it's up there with the best, It's like giving a 2 year old toddler a loaded handgun and to no surprise we all know the outcome.

I have spent the last week putting this CDL conversion right, pipes and sensors hanging off and the nipple on thr n75 snapped off which was allowing 30+psi of boost.   Teething issues as you would get with most major engine consersion.

Started to tune monday only to run in to misfires around 6000-6500rpm, and with rail pressure raised to anything above 115bar I get constant misfires on number 1.

Fingers crossed the end result will be around 330bhp 350lbft...... If this fecking misfire goes away

Not going to push it too hard as its only on the stock gti intercooler.
