WTF. He went and brought a new lump. Had some other muppets have a go at it, they failed miserably and now its back with a tuner that could have done a proper job on it from the get go?  :stupid:

What an incomprehensible moron Sammy is. I thought this saga had ended a long time ago when i last commented on one of his other threads.

Wtf are you on about? What is wrong with another lump, what other choices then rebuilding a 80,000 miles engine and running that it is certainly better to get a fresh lump and forget the damn problem!  :stupid:

Have I missed something? Is Sammy now Speedy?

I think deako was referring to the place who fitted the engine not doing everything 100% and Nick having to sort the issues out before mapping it up.

Because you had another load of idiots attempt the conversion. They failed miserably, and now its in the hands of a reputable tuner (like we advised in the first place) to fix it properly.

dont want to say i told him so, he told me i dont know anything about this engine and the swap is easy  :grin: i told him he will have issues.


But at the end of the day nick has it, sammy learnt that cheapest quote isnt always the best and eventually will have a good engine in his golf.
