Punctured tyre new one needed would I be best buying two?
« on: June 08, 2012, 03:24:41 pm »
Rear passenger tyre has gone : (

It has about 5mm on them both, Should I buy two to keep them the same tread and keep the other as a spare? Or is it just me being anal?

There Conti sport 3's if anyone knows a place that's got a good price at the moment I would love to know,

Cheers guys Jase

There's a chap on edition 38 selling 2 with loads of tread on for not a large amount of money. £60 each or something

Had the same on mine and bought a pair and put them on the rear (was on the front but swapped them)

Just looked tonight and got another screw in one of the new ones :fighting:

Hope it's repairable or else you will be well and truely screwed.

I've got a pic of it on my phone which I'll upload later and ask the tyre guru's on here their opinion. The last one I had was on the edge mm's from the tyre wall and had 4mm left on it. This one is about half an inch to an inch in, so i'm really hoping it's repairable or it will be another £130 for a ps3 meaning I've spent around £400 on tyres in a month :fighting:

Get yourself a matching part worn from eBay (from a reputable seller) they usually go for about £60ish for a part worn  :happy2:
