Fuel gauge fault

Hi guys! Has anyone experinced there fuel gauge occasionally not working? As mine works when you first start up then after 5-10mins of driving it reads empty. Anybody had this? :confused:

Not had this, but it must be the sensor at fault, or the wiring to it.

I'm not sure how you can replace the sensor-I imagine it's pretty inaccessibly located in the tank.
