Washing the Beast!!
« on: June 10, 2012, 05:17:34 pm »
Never done this before with my own hands  :signLOL: so decided to give it a try!!!
My weapon of choice!!!

Now trying to work out how the hell to use the bloody thing

What I'll be using for the snow foam and wash!!

Quite impressed with the thick foam I got on my 1st attempt  :jumpmove:

Bit concerned, what do I do with all the snow foam left - I could have foamed about 6 cars with the remainder  :surprised: can I keep this till next time

Now for some after shots - not too bad actually  :drinking:

Too lazy now to start inside, maybe when it decides to warm up, as the rain has just started - any advice on bringing the alcantara to life??

All in all a good experience, even though it started to drizzle straight after I finished - at least I worked out how to use the Karcher  :signLOL:

Very nice and shiny. I've experimented with the settings on the lance and found the best for me leaves behind  half a bottle, which I use the following week.

Alternatively, don't make as much next time.  :signLOL:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Half a bottle  :surprised:  Did you snowfoam half the cars in your street  :signLOL:
Next time I'll prep a half bottle.  How long can you keep the mixture before having to chuck away??

I've found it still works after two weeks.

No wonder it looks new with half a bottle :signLOL:
I use autosmart 101 for the upholstery. dilute it 10:1 and see how you go.

Are we talking about the same thing  :signLOL:
I was talking about the snow foam usage not the Alcantara cleaning
Autosmart 101 for the Alcantara then - what do you use to apply it?  :happy2:
