Best product for lower bumper and side sills sections?
« on: June 11, 2012, 03:10:55 pm »
Tried chemical guys gel and AG  bumper shine but neither seem to last long.Any ideas on the best product to make get them nice and black and longer lasting?

Anyone tried G/techniq C4 Permanent Trim restorer,I know its around £22 a shot, willing to pay it if it's as good as they say !

Try gliptone tire and trim jelly. I bought this after a review on DW. Looks just like megs endurance tyre gel though different scent. On the areas I applied it to, they're still good after 2 months. Even the tyres looked good after a month.

Just want to test it out on the grille

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

GTechniq is great. Lasts ages! Make sure to prep well before though or it won't last as long

I use poor boys natural look and it seems to perform well enough though I haven't got anything to compare it with.

Likewise, I tend to use two coats and it's fairly durable. I normally apply sparingly with a foam applicator then buff with a micro-fibre. Without the buffing stage I find it lasts much less time.

I bought this last week based on recommendations on DW so will see how it is once I get a chance to wash my car (still got a hosepipe ban in place :sad1:).
