Hi guys :happy2: recently bought my current car from a mk5golfgti forum member, part exchanged my Honda s2000.
Been browsing since i got the car so thought it was time to introduce myself and get involved :smiley:

A little about me.....

My name is Bryan and im 24, from Glasgow. This is my second volkswagen, first being a 1.2 polo as my first car in 2005.
I'v had a few cars since then, most recent being Mini Cooper S, Vauxhall astra VXR, Honda Integra DC5 and a Honda s2000.

My car.....

2005 (55) Gti in Black with 43000 on the clock, pretty much poverty spec  :signLOL: with exepton of a forge twintake
Since geting the Golf i have added a few mods
Genuine Edition 30 wheels painted black
Eibach sportline springs
Tints
Milltek cat back (yet to be fitted)
uprated bulbs up front
and replaced some tatty interior plastics

Future mods.....

Downpipe and sportcat
Stage 2 remap
Brake upgrade
coilovers
WALK and bushes

Love it mate.

How are those Sportlines on standard shocks? Is it a bouncy ride or is the dampening on standard shocks okay with these springs?

I find them only slightly different from standard realy. I have had other brands of springs on previous cars and the eibachs are defo closest to oem. Great buy for £129. Just enough drop to tide me over until i get coilies :)

I followed a car with darkened brake lights the other day and the visible signal was seriously impaired  :stupid: The sooner that any kind of aftermarket tinting of signal lights is made highly illegal, the better! An utterly stupid mod to compromise road safety like that. Mind you, a smack up the arse might teach something.

oh, i didnt mean black spray can botch, i did mean black as in manufactured black lens, like the r-lines and so on. very black, and waaaay brighter/more visible than a standard lamp  :smiley:
