Hello fellow GTI ers !!

Hello peoples !!

Just recently got myself a nice Red GTI, 4 door, seems to have a lot of the options on it, dsg, 18's, xenons, mfw, sunroof etc so I'm over the moon ! Great to drive and I'm intending to get some mods done when I get some money together.

In the mean time, Its just come up for the 60,000 mile service, its my understanding that it has the cam belt done at this point but I wondered if any one can outline what has to be done and also if anyone could recomend a good GTI specialist in the south east? I'm in Crawley W.Sussex.

Any help would be appreciated?????

Mine's going in on Thurs to have cambelt and water pump done. Latter is not essential but prudent if getting belt done.

If interested you can buy VAG cambelt kit and reconditioned water pump here in Belfast for £128.50.

I had recommendation from a kindly Forum member toward this purchase - a good price too!

oh £128 is pretty good. At least I have an idea now, thanks. Wanted a specialist place with a decent recomendation really tho.

Are there any others areas of this forum that I could ask the question?
