Word is they've been lapping the Ring at M3 pace, so the chassis is clearly well sorted. It also has a proper locking diff, albeit electronically controlled, F1 style - rather than the old method of using the brakes to mimic one. Proper brakes all round, lovely interior, really good base spec with leather and xenons (you'd only really add 'nav), no run flats .... It's just that front end.
I'm going looking at one very soon.
If the S3 turns out well, then if the deal you've done is good enough (as I'm sure you can improve on 10k), it might not stand you to much to change?
