LED Sidelights (For the 1656th time)
« on: June 10, 2012, 08:28:01 pm »
I know this has been covered on more than one occasion but I have just been given a set of these and wondered if anybody has had any experience with them?

Not used them myself, but they probably look better than normal bulbs. However, as far as I am aware they are not legal. Also, it's possible it might set off warnings in the car. These disclaimers are stated with the bulbs, but how much of an issue it really is I don't know.

These look quite good, might give them a go myself as I hate my yellowy side lights

I had similar ones fitted in  my OEM Bi-xenons, very 'white'

the BEST ones i found were the Osram LEDriving ones...however they kept throwing the silly error on the dash and had to be removed - these were by far the brightest and the closest match to my Osram 5000k Xenarc Cool Blue Intense D2S bulbs i've got fitted as my Low Beam/Main beam bulbs... promptly sent them back - cost 20quid!

It's strange, I have LED indicators in the headlights and sometimes they can give an error everyday and sometimes I go months without a message, what's that all about??

I am yet to fit these but I have fitted some LED number plate lights which are perfect and haven't thrown up any errors (yet).

Fitted these LED's to mine, don't get any fault codes and they are bright enough to act as DLR's.

That looks amazing...how have you got the side lights there? Mine seem to be in the inner light clusters a little bulb which sits with the full beams...or have you simply put these bulbs into the indicator spots? they look awesome...

Fitted the sidelights yesterday and they are pukka! No errors, work correctly and bright as anything, I'd massively recommend these to accompany a set of HID's,

Overall, very impressed and highly recommended!

I'll try and get some pics up soon.
