Finally got myself a GTI!! (pics)

So I've finally fulfilled my childhood dream of owning a Golf GTI. I Picked her up yesterday and could not be happier with it.
I upgraded from a 6n2 Polo GTI which this blows out of the water in every department. I've uploaded some of the dealer pics which don't really do it justice so will hopefully upload more soon!
Hopefully see some of you guys around the Manchester/Oldham area....

Looks great, I too had a 6n2 gti polo which I then sold to buy the g40 polo, which I then sold to buy the edition 30 my polo phase went on too long :laugh:

Cheers for the comments guys. Made up with the seats although I'm almost jumping in them to preserve the bolsters. Worth it though, feels special.

I paid just short of 10 for it. I'm happy with that price as it had VW FSH and they had the alloys refurbished, MOT'd it and gave me a lifetime warranty providing I keep it serviced which I will be doing.

Nice one! And when I scrolled down and saw the seats I went "Wow!" and for a moment forgot I have the same! You won't be able to stop your righthand seat bolster collapsing to some extent but the metal frame inside still supports you when driving.

The rear shoulder areas have a tendency to pull out a fraction too but can easily be pushed back in with your fingers. Enjoy!  :happy2: And a Warm Welcome to the forum!
