Pescara VS Pro race 1.2?
« on: May 23, 2009, 06:26:55 pm »
I have just baught a set of team dynamics pro race 1.2 wheels in black, they are unused and i got them quite cheap, what are they worth usually? Also does anybody know the weigth difference between them and the standard Pescara's?

Im undecided whether to keep them or to sell them?

Any help appreciated, thanks, Chris

I really like the pescara but just heard a lot about these wheels being lightweight and i do like black wheels, im just trying to decide whether to keep them or sell them on. Would i be able to feel any difference in the way the car drives with them??

Pescara's are 26.5lb and Pro race are 19.8lb.

So a saving of 6.7lb per wheel = 26.8lb saving

Factor the equation for the fact that it is a rotating mass on the unsprung weight and a set of Pro Race alloys is the equivalent of taking 160lb of dead weight from inside your car, or a 11.5 stone man!!! :surprised:
Golf R gone.
