Hi all im a little confused as to wich oil i need for my car.
Ive got a 2005 2.0 GTI . What oil do i need? thanks

Standard grade is 5w30 longlife. 504/507 spec.

I used castrol 5w 30 fully synthetic, Is this grade fine for my car (ECP supplied)

If it meets or exceeds VW spec 504/507 then you'll be fine. Be aware that Castrol sells two types of fully synthetic oil at that grade, Edge which is ideally what you want and Magnatec.
