Laser blue wheel options - Pics Please!
« on: June 17, 2012, 08:06:30 am »

I'd really appreciate seeing pics of member's Laser blue wheel options.

My new one has 17 Monza's, which is a blessing as I don't have the diamond finish 'refurb OEM or powder-coat?' conundrum to worry about. But obviously they need to go. It looks like a Dinky toy at the moment  :signLOL:

I'd really like a black or gunmetal centre with a polished or silver rimI think, but itwould be great to see some pics to get some ideas. I did start looking through the wheel thread, but there is so much to sift through.

Thanks,

Ian  :happy2:

It's just a dark picture, Neo's car is definitely laser blue.

As Andrew said its definately laser blue. If you look through mine and neo's threads you will see depending on the light depends on what shade of blue you see.. It goes from being a light as in my sig to as dark in Neo's pic above. Absolutely brilliant colour.

As for wheels I really want some BBS CS5's but they don't make them in the right offset for the MK5 (but they will fit a MK6  :fighting: )

I guess that means one less Shadow Blue on the forum - they're getting rarer

I'm steering clear of Monza 2's because of the refurb issues.  :happy2:

I have CF’s fitted which are the same ET40 offset as these and got no problems with rubbing when driving low. 215/35 profile tyre
