Rear wheel bearing gone

I need to buy a new rear passenger wheel hub can someone help with the best place to buy,there seems to be two sizes 30 or 32 so not sure which is for my car it is a 56 reg gti

I have tried that and two types come up not sure which is correct part for my car

Isn't the 56 plate a cross over year. Mine is a 56 yet I had to order the 07 cam belt kit.

I'm in the same boat need front bearings for mine vw were no help

Dont know how much it helps but i recently had 2 wheel bearings done by my local VW dealers recently
the parts where around £95 per bearing then of course fitting on top of that

I fitted my wifes mk 5 tdi  front bearing myself, from a guide i had, very easy tbh, link below. I would guess its the same for a GTI

It really is a nuts and bolts Job. The bearing is a cartridge type on the GTI no presses required just 4 splined bolts.

Are you sure its the bearing and not uneven 'sawtooth' tyre wear like I have?! Mine hums along like a good un, so too have been pricing up brgs. But transpires its my tyres...(rears)
