Help at GTI international 2012 with autotech hpfp
« on: June 19, 2012, 06:49:18 pm »
alright guys, im gong to GTI international 2012 on saturday and i am having my car remaped by revo at the show to a stage2+
my car is a seat leon tfsi 200ps, i have allready had fitted 3" decar, twin intercooler and itg induction kit.
when i get to the show i will need to fit the autotech internals befor they can flash it  , if there is anyone on the day who has fitted one befor you help would be apricitated :D

i also have s3 injecters ready to go in the car, and k04 turbo oem kit to fit, but wont have time befor the show.

i am having it mapped at the show to a stage 2+ because revo have a offer of 30% off on the day, saving me over £200!
so next month when i get time to fit the k04 i will only have to pay extra £100 for the stage3

cya there boys

i have fitted them before (i would certainly stand with you and guide you through), auto tech have a walk through PDF document i followed but you really need a clean dust free environment because getting anything in that fuel pump other than fuel and a slight bit of oil is bad news.

.
Surely, fitting fuel pump internals in any environment other than clean and completely dust free etc is simply asking for trouble! Potentially expensive trouble!

Frankly, I wouldn't have been happy even if my sealed APR pump had been fitted in an outdoors environment, let alone an Autotech.

Anyway, you don't have to install the HPFP before the Revo remap - Just inform them you have a standard OEM pump, they'll adjust your settings accordingly and then later after you have fitted your Autotech in suitable conditions your Revo settings can be re-adjusted. That's one of the advantages of Revo.

Just get it flashed to stge 2 doesn't need to be flashed straight to stage 2 plus.

Dont fit engine internal parts at a car show, get them fitted before you go. Where are you in the country? I will probably have someone that can do it for you.

As mentioned by others, if you can't get the hpfp fitted before inters, just go to Stage 2 on Saturday. Then pay £50 to upgrade to Stg2+ once the fuel pump is on, or jump straight to Stage 3  :happy2:

Yeah this is true, though I'd rather pay the extra 50 pounds than take apart a fuel pump in a field!
