So what are the differences between this and their junior brembo kit.
off the top of my head :
the GT kit's have smaller pistons, so less clamping pressure when being used spiritedly
the GT kit will be alot heavier - so unsprung weight is great effected
the GT kit's rotors are one piece disc's - the more expensive kit are semi floating.
the more £££ kit just looks cooler - but if i had it i'd go for different disc's, slotted or plain not drilled as i cracked 3 sets of AP330 mm drilled disc's on my Evo 6 - not the biggest fan of drilled.
If i could i'dupgrade to the fully floating desgin as found on the B7 RS4 but used the Phaeton plain disc (as i did on my B6 S4)
Not the best picture, but you can just see the floating spring shims, worked very well, esp with the 8pot brembo's - 3 trackdays at Castle Combe and sprited driving aplenty with out warping
