People may have noticed that i have been posting for opinions about Monza reburb but i think i may have made a conclusion just need some opinions and advice

I have phoned up a nationwide company called The Wheel Specialist as i thought they must have good work to be nationwide and the service so far they have given is +++.

So i have finalised on having a full powder coat which will obviously help as it wont suffer as bad with white worm

Im going for the style of the Monza shadows and having the whole wheel powder coated black then have the face powdercoated 'Black chrome' which looks very close to a diamond cut face.

Here is a picture of an M3 wheel they have done previously which should be machined cut.

That is a picture of black chrome but the whole wheel is sprayed one colour

I have been quoted £320 to do all four wheels including putting tyres back on, which i think isnt a bad price atall.

And also i can drop my car there early morning and it will be done the same day.

I would question them, A LOT! i used the London branch and was not impressed... took them at least 3 attempts to get them looking acceptable..

I wanted the Monza II look with a powder coat finish so I wouldn’t be hassled with white worm... at the time they said no problem, what they hadn’t accounted for was the time it takes to mask off the inserts for the face being sprayed... A LONG TIME! Or that trying to find a masking tape that stretches enough and sticks to the powder coating... it’s a good job I don’t use the car for work as it was in out over several weeks for days at a time... certainly not drop off in the morning and pick up last thing...

I complained at least twice about the quality of the masking and on the final collection they managed to spray the faces the wrong colour!

Not sure which branch you are using and I'm not saying they won’t do I good job... but you wont see me near them again...

I used the Aberdeen branch and was more than happy with the finish and service.

Hmm well when I drive past I may pop in and have a look closely at there work and decide from there but that is my only worry the quality of the masking

heard very good things about Leeds and Manchester. no personal experience tho

what I have ended up with look good... took a while for the colour to grow on me as they sprayed them a smoked instead of black chrome (their silver version)...
