Thank you for the warm welcome back guys... Not too sure if it's a good thing being back on lol...    slippery slope an all that....

I have some bits to get fitted while I'm off over the Christmas holidays....

Still Chasing down the idle hunting issue, so i may have a solution... Just have to wait now to find out if this fixes the problem or not.    ummmm. fingers crossed.

One or two electical add on extras.

Looking into some aerodynamics mods.
Extra engine bay mods.
Highline 30 Byte CECM.
Alternator replacement.
Coilovers to be adjusted.
Steering wheel to be recovered.... Just to decide on ideas for it, any steering wheel recover recommendations to do the work? 
New windscreen.

Guys looking some help here please...
I still have this haunting issue, and can't find the problem.

Engine is haunting on idle, when coming down of the revs it bounces up and down, like the engine is going to stall , it only happens when the oil temperature is over 50oC

Here is the list of parts that I can remember i have replaced.

Cam sensor
Map sensor
Evap sensor
Purge solenoid valve
Lambda sensor
Throttle body
Whole Wiring loom
N75 valves
Lpfp
Hpfp
Lpfp sensor
G35 sensor
Hpfp side sensor
Maf sensor
Rocker cover
Vacuum pipes
All engine gaskets done twice
Boost hoses
Intercooler hoses
Alternator
New batteries

 

The car has been boost tested, no leaks, smoke tested no smoke....car still goes really well, just the haunting issue thats bugging the life clean out of me, that much i took a year out from the car as it done my head in that much.

I just want it fixed and the love back.

So i got to fit the new Alternater over the holidays, with all the luck, i had a broken headed bolt that holds the Alternater in place...
How much fun that was trying to remove a bolt from an area a bees dick wouldnt fit in...

But all good have a nice fresh looking Alternater and tensioner.

That didnt help the haunting issue...

so a few other things i had been thinking about:-

Intake manifold runner motor, as the intake manifold controls most of the cars idle.... ummm...

Intake manifold.

Try a different air intake

Rev G DV

New oem PCV system

Injectors sent for testing when i have the Intake manifold off.

Haven't read your build but have you tried changing the PCV?

I have tried one, but i'm going to buy a new one so i can totally rule things out, once and for all.

I have had this problem, from early 2013 maybe even 2012.

I run the BSH PCV delete kit and have done for years, i have run catch can set-ups and back to oem pcv, then back to BSH Delete kit, I have tried the R-tech delete kit but it made the problem worse.

Hey man! I have the same issue, mostly after a short acceleration, and stop at the red light.
I have also changed everything and now i was thinking it could be the remap until I saw the other thread. I should try to change again the DV, maybe I got a faulty one since it'd rev D,.

Yes, sounds like the same problem I have. Some parts I've replaced twice, beyond the joke now, but at least with every new part, the car becomes more up to date with the latest rev of car parts. 😇

And I've had the chance to help others with my old spare parts, like a vw parts bin lol. Always something that will come in handy. 

I've had the car with my tuner multiple times, tested on the rollers and tested on the road, he just keeps telling me the cars perfect and everything is on tune. 

That's what my next move is new Rev G dv, then latest rev pcv system.

No, still have a lot to do until the car will start again. I'm in a middle of a DSG conversion and it seems that the wire loom I bought is from a TDI, the guy told me it's TSI, installing new coilovers and some aero mods.
The first thing that I will replace after new logs will be the DV, if not by a miracle the problem is gone.   
I'll let you know if I get it sorted.

New Front PCV ordered as the one i had spare, I'm not 100% sure if it is okay, it makes a hissing noise on shut off.
so ordered the rear PCV also.

Seem to be going backwards now.

The revs hang alot more now, like slow to drop back down... Anyone any ideas as to why this is happening now ?
