If someone near by you Mike has a GTI one, you could measure it up to yours 

It is a realy nice looking bit of material

Might have one custom Made to match the black shade of my dash flocking so I don't end up with a mish mash of different black trim colours (attention to detail!)

Hey Mike

It would be a close match, as it's only black suede, red stitching with the wording OSIR on it... If you did get one made you could get CUPRA stitched in, again attention to the finer detail... 

I had to trim a bit of the gator for it to fit, if you measure the cupra one, i will measure the GTI one, we could compare, sounds funny that...

My seats and steering wheel are red stitched so that's the plan :)

Nope havent got round to fitting the new indicators yet, my worry is removing the mirror covers, i have read a few saying it didnt take them to long & was easy...
New task for the weekend if the weather gets a bit better  ...

Any tips for me Matey?

I had the cover off mine the other day as I wasn't happy with how the indicator lens was sitting. I found that some plastic was broken inside the mirror. I think its had a whack at some stage before I got the car. I found it came off fairly easy. Work your fingers around the edge the it will probably just want a firm pull straight up.

What next then, half a dozen screws to take out, drop the old light out & pop the new one in ?
