Well abit of an update
New Clutch fitted, just bedding it in, they say 500-1000 miles

Getting a little bit of vibration on tick over but it may fade... Anyone else had the same problem?
Gear changes are smooth, pedal feed back is great, very close to OEM, "I'm impressed".
Got the Boot pop from a friend at Christmas, very easy to fit, took a bit of playing about on the VCDS, but got it in the end.
Central convenience, Long coding helper, went into byte 1 and ticked byte 4 (softtouch direct open/no release)
One thing I notice is, it does not open/pop right up every time, but think I read, it could be a temperature thing, and as it has not been over 8-10 oC, I will not be able to find out till the wammer weather kicks in.
Now there is no need to use the handle, as i still find myself going to grab it, then grabbing my key and pressing the button...
Stuck the OEM closed fog grilles back on for winter...
Also looking for ideas for my engine cover, do I paint it, if so what colours do I go for... Ummmm.
Silver with black centre strip & red FSI TUBRO lettering.
Then what else to match the engine bay.
