I always wanted the neuspeed boot brace, looks good too, but for near 300 quid, and also the unibrace is as good, but a lot cheaper, if I remember correctly...

Seen a front brace advertised somewhere recently, with the both front and rear done, that would really keep things tight

I could really see the benefit's of a rear brace, another on the to-do list !  It always has been, just kept putting it to the back of the queue...

Need tyres first !

If it's not broke, Mod it.....

The ultra racing under brace is meant to be more effective than the cabin rear braces.

I like the look of the unibrace stuff, reasonably priced as well on eBay.

I seen the front brace but don't like the idea of loosing the scuttle panel to fit it and also doesn't look intake friendly lol

Only half cages are in the states so will contact Alex one here for a half cage price.

I will have to keep an eye out for a rear unibrace  :innocent:

No didnt like the idea of having no scuttle pannel, just would not look right, but maybe something could be custom made to suit better...

Yeah a half cage would be more than enough, in my eyes... then just to decide what colour to do it, black would not be as noticeable, white, silver and most other colours would stand out alot more !

Another small update...

New superpro ball Joints fitted   Tracking/Alignment being done as i type !

Raised the rear coilovers up a notch, removed and re-lubed my rear ARB as it was squeeky dry, all good with some lube !

New subframe spacers and Audi's non strech bolts fitted  :jumpmove:

So with having the highline clocks fitted some time ago, i could never get into my menu options, Something to do with needing a MFSW.

So fitted the cruise control, nice new toy... Dont think i will use it much, but its fitted now.

Also fitted the Trip computer Wiper stalk, with some slight hope it would let me into my options, to fit the polar fis+, but with no joy, i need to try something else...
It seems the RS4 steering wheel, needs a loom made up to fit the 2 connectors together, that may allow my RS4 wheel work as my MFSW...

Loom needed  :sad1:

Has anyone every got an RS4 wheel MFSW Buttons to work with there GTI?

Time will tell!  :popcornsoda:

Some new valve caps arrived  :jumpmove: will match my centre caps   New black front VW badge on its way, as my old one has faded.

Top mounts and bearings replaced  :driver:  Nice !  Some testing now, to see if i can notice any difference  !

Agreed, I've read tonnes on them parts and they only ever get good comments on them.

I'm fitting TT/rs3 top mounts with bearings when I fit the Koni suspension next next weekend.  Have you replaced yours with the TT/rs3 mounts or have you Gina aftermarket.

Replied to pm  :happy2:

Yes went with the TT/RS mounts with new bearings !   I will give a better indication on them, when i get it back on the road !

I didnt fancy the extra noises that may come with after market top mounts, so slightly stiffer ones may just be perfect for my needs...

Just one more rattle to find now, seems to be coming from drivers side, behind the dash, not sure if its the inner arch tapping of something, as i have removed the dreaded sponge thing that causes the rust.  :fighting:

Rear brake discs also need a painting !

Can't wait to get my mounts on, I only put my oem mk5 new top mounts in 2300 miles ago so when I sell the suspension set up in 2 weeks time they'll be perfect for someone  :happy2:

I just like to replace everything

I had a irritating rattle which turned out to be the bolt that holds in inner fuse box (drivers side) in place. now the only rattle I have is the passenger side sun visor bulb housing rattles which drivers me nuts when pulling away/reversing  :fighting:

Discs or the bells ?
