Gti front grill NO licence plate version
« on: June 25, 2012, 10:42:40 pm »
Im after a new grill. Seen these for sale on ebay but not sure what the quality is like, fitment etc.... And seeing as they are made in china (like most things) its a long way for it to come which would be a ball ache if I needed to send it back!Has anyone bought one of these or one from a similar site?

Would be wary of the quality personally.
A cheaper option would be to have a bodyshop smooth it for you and paint it.
Or buy some gloss black vinyl wrap and wrap the grille to hide the holes.

Never thought of that to be honest. Can you remove the number plate bracket? and are you then left with 4 holes? Because if so im getting a plastic welder kit soon as im going to have a go at doing some bumper smoothing anyway so could do this aswell.
