R32 Rear exhaust trim
« on: June 26, 2012, 02:17:33 pm »
Currently got an ABT rear with quad exhausts, looking to change it to an R32 rear but need the exhaust trim for quad exhausts.

Anyone know where to get it?

Thanks

I've got an osir carbon one the same as robin. They are not cheap

http://www.osirusa.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=VGTIEB

The only other option I have seen is from srs tec for 169euros

....I don't think that Blueflame offer exhaust trims (the correct term that piece of bodywork). Please correct me if I'm wrong about Blueflame.

....It takes an awful lot of money to look cheap, according to Mae West

The SRS doesn't state what it's made of but the fact that it's German rather than Chinese is a good sign and I expect an email will get the answer.

I was looking into them before i acquired the osir one and  they are "High quality german glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP)". someone on here has bought from them (think it might have been a front splitter) and the quality is meant to be good

I was looking into them before i acquired the osir one and I believe they are PU not fibreglass. I'm not sure if they are textured or smooth but someone on here has bought from them (think it might have been a front splitter) and the quality is meant to be good

....They'll almost certainly be PU and smooth.  :happy2:

Thanks, the SRS tec one looks good. Just worried about the quality and fitment of it.

OSIR is nice but unfortunately cannot afford that one at the moment

Quality is meant to be good and they have a TUV report

^^^^
I suppose that German GRP is better quality than anyone else's GRP? I'm surprised it's not PU < German PU of course!

Lol, I wouldn't go that far. I think its where I spend more time researching all variations and being indecisive rather than just buying what I want. It took me 2 months to sort the Votex front lip out lol

....It's often wiser to take your time considering the best course of action and which mods. I took a year to decide on which remap!

I believe they only supply/fit the exhausts. Any bumpers, exhaust surrounds etc have to be sourced, painted and fitted by yourself
