... the only thing that puts me off is any optician I see in the local opticians still wear glasses, I would've thought they would have had it done if it was any good

why? the laser eye surgery is done by ophthalmologists (i.e. doctors) so opticians don't profit from it - if you're not wearing glasses they don't get any business so they're unlikely to reccommend it!

but you can wear glasses in the police so why would they not consider an applicant with better, corrected vision  :stupid: any police officers who can provide more info? Garrard?

Wow you managed to hide it well!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Had mine done 18 yrs ago at Bristol Optimax, yes 18yrs ago
Totally different to the methods these days, I had PRKwhere they just laser it and could only do one eye and I honestly smelt it burning. It only took 30secs and I had to wear a patch for a week. my prescription is now -1.5 which is brilliant considering I was 19 at the time and should never had it done at such a young age as your eyes are constantly changing, but vanity came first then.
Go for it

I've been tempted by this but the contacts I wear get put it and stay in for a month so there's no hassle at all  I'd recommend them
GTI going...
