SD card cable - Does it exist??
« on: June 27, 2012, 09:38:50 pm »
I had a quick google but came up with nothing, just wondered if anyone else had heard of/came across a device which slots into your SD card slot (i.e. on the RCD510  :happy2: ) and features a female USB socket on the other end, so as to allow memory sticks, mobile phones etc to be played through the RNS/RCD 510 headunit!

I'm not even sure if this would be viable/possible (voltage/current required for SD vs. USB device?) and would be grateful if someone could expand on my ramblings   :popcornsoda:

I think SD requires 3.3v and USB at least 5v, with differences in current requirements too, so don't think it's possible.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)
