Highline Clocks
« on: June 27, 2012, 10:37:07 pm »
I've done a search regarding high line clocks and I now realise that I do actually have the high line (i think!).

I've also searched to see if there is an idiots guide to the menu options - what each one is/does but can't seem to find one. I'm really just after an idiots guide! I appreciate that there is some notes in the manual but it doesn't really cover what I'm after - I feel its a bit vague!

Also, I've been through the menus and I don't have options like mirrors down or rain closing. How do I get these - do I need a module or is it just in need or re-coding?

Sorry - noob questions and thanks in advance!

The module for Convenience Menu is the CCM - it is behind the glovebox.

I believe Golfman has one for sale with all the options, but you need to compare the age of your car, how many doors etc. So if you have a 5 door you can't out a 3 door module in.

Hold the up or down buttoning the wiper stalk for a few seconds and it should give you the main menu.

To access extra features you will need to upgrade your central control module. I'm not sure what is exta In the menu once upgraded your module.

Thanks for the replies. I've got an 07, 5 door. No idea what module is in there, but by the look/sound of it, its basic. Can only change things like the coming home light times, door opening etc. I'll check and see what one I've got fitted first - noticed golf man's for sale as well.  :happy2:

Is it easy enough to locate behind the glove box?
