And some of the car  :signLOL:

Ha ha, good work Robin, always going to go for those, hook, line and sinker!

Did you notice how subtle I was in setting it up so someone else (you, Ian) would suggest that Rachael post pics of herself   (with her car of course).

No way, small world. Where abouts are you from?

Omg how pink is that! Looks actually quite hot in pink.

Here's my baby, debating a subtle tint on the back?!

....Where I'm from is a very long story but I'm based in coastal West Dorset currently.

Yeah, that 'hot pink' was a fellow forumite's Photoshop joke - Lots of great banter on this forum.

Your car looks like mine did when new but 7 years and 100,000 miles later she has had a few mods done! This forum is very good at persuading you to spend lots of money on your ride - You have been warned.

....I have seen cars sprayed that hot pink colour and I expect you have too, but not for me!

Yes, I'm on Revo Stage 2 and was Stage 1. There is most definitely a difference when you remap but the standard Mk5 GTI is a great car and quite fast anyway. It's better to get used to a car's power before considering remapping. Plenty to read and learn on this forum and if you want to start any threads to ask anything, you'll find that everyone is extremely helpful (especially as you are a girlie and most of us are blokes).

Take your time and don't feel you have to modify at all  :happy2:

It's not all about max bhp, Rach. You really don't want to witness any willy waving (or do you!?)

But as you ask, my K03 (turbo same as yours) GTI runs between 260-270 bhp on Stage 2. I could get more but the power delivery is smooth and without wheelspin. I also have a lot of handling mods because I like a well balanced car.

Stage 1 (with a high-flow exhaust) would probably give you about 240 bhp.

Take it steady and power shouldn't terrify you - Use it to drive more safely and with less stress.

I love this thread!

I used to have a.black golf, and couldn't cope with cleaning it! However, red does feel like a faster colour ;).

 Willy waving? Sounds intriguing!

Oooo 270bhp tasty. Im thinking poss tinted windows, remap, n non resonated exhaust!

Would love to come to meets, just gotta find one that's not a million miles from me :)

....You are intrigued by willy waving!!? Gosh!  :surprised:

You sound like a very sporting gal who loves cars but can hold her own in the banter  :notworthy:

Black is notoriously difficult to keep clean. Tornado Red is one of the best n deepest reds on any car I've seen.
