  :ashamed:No reason for the wrong place. I've found the detailing section. I'll take more care in the future.

  Was told this is the best stuff to buy to keep my rubber bits in good order.

Yes it's great stuff, I use it but only a few times a year, stopped my doors.from freezing shut last year too 
I've heard done guys say it made the seal very soft to the point were you could just put your finger through it....but it was on  10 year old BMW so I'd say seal were shot anyway

iv used it for a few years now and highly recommend especially for stopping doors freezing shut in winter as above.

Why should it be in the detailing section?

If anything it should be in either the General area or this section as it's not a detailing item. It's meant for treating rubber seals. Just because some detailers do this doesn't mean it should be in that section.

At the OP - yes it is very good and i use on my car. Stops squeaky door seals and stops the doors sticking in winter to a degree as well

Helps stop the doors sticking in winter. I gather that BMW recommend/stock/sell this product to its customers too.

I use it for the door/boot seals. It's crap for anything else eg exterior rubber trim.

I didn't know weather he was going to ask what it's for, where you can buy it, how much is it...hence the or is it meant to be in hear..but it's just general discussion on it

 OK fellas I've just ordered some (£6). Full detailed ( ) report on its performance to follow.

make sure you apply it on a dry day and let it dry out for a day or so

if it rains shortly after applying it just runs off and goes smarmy all over the paintwork

it does make the trim look good though

Been using the stuff for years now,  was recommended it back when I had a Z4 for keeping the roof seals moisturised.
