It's the 'family' motor so anything that is done will be small and purely cosmetic or a tech improvement such as audio/telephone etc.

Last few cars (VR6/MK3 GTI/) I have pretty much left as standard but before that I had a Mk3.5 Cabrio which was modded.

Welcome!! I was (and mainly still am) keeping mine standard - but this site, and it's great members, has a way of getting you spending the money and tinkering  :happy2:
VCDS cable HEX-USB+CAN. New but can do the basics including coding

As for Mods - Certainly want an OEM audio/phone upgrade as me and the missus both use the car and both have iPhones  :ashamed:

Tints as well but I really like the blue glass so no idea  - When I see soemthing that makes me go ohhhhh I will tint them lol

Some subtle touches inside - I like the footrest plate (wheres the best place to get one?) and some possible changes to the instrument cluster (not sure what yet tho). Someone mentioned seat inlays - anyone got pics?

Ok so let me get you started with the first 2 mods :evilgrin:






Both of these are supplied by our own Gulfstream11 (PM him and he should sort you out) :happy2:

I have stuck red tape behing the GTI logos to get the red effect :wink:

Being a 55 plate you will need a new CANBUS. Easiest way to check what version you have is with a VCDS scan.
