I kickbox but have yet to get some proper gloves for sparring. The girlfriend has some RDX ones which I have used and they felt allrite apart from being a little small. They were only 10oz though.

I had been looking at the Badboy and Venum stuff but it seems to be quite showy and expensive. I was told to look at some Lonsdale ones just for sparring.

Ah right. I am in the same boat as you as I keep looking and haven't a clue what to get.

never liked the lonsdale stuff. I will have a look at mine when I get home and let you know. iirc they were ringside ones and very very good.

Zenicman - I was at kickboxing last night and was talking to my instructor about gloves saying I didn't know what to get as there is that much out there. He said he never really spends more than 25-30 quid on gloves and to try Sports Direct. I had a look on their website last night and found a couple of pairs I liked so popped in on my way home this evening.

Got myself some of these in the end in 12oz. Feel pretty good on and seem to be reasonably well made.

It's impossible to find the perfect sparring gloves.
