.
I must admit to having a cycling race bottle filled with a soft drink in my door pocket on long journeys. The 'nipple' top means I can open and close it with my teeth and take just a quick swig to stay refreshed. I always pop my DSG from Manual back into auto D-mode while having a drink. Obviously I don't take a swig while I'm focussed on enjoying twisties.

This thread seems to have meandered and evolved into 'What would you love to see in the car Laws? instead of the car Industry.

Cameras on every set of traffic lights. I only do 14 miles a day and I must see 1 or 2 people go through a red light.

I've always wondered, what happens if you drop your cigarette between your legs when you're driving?

I'd like to see the removal of age related plates.

Residuals in the UK are insane compared to Europe and the States, and I'm fairly convinced it's down to this snobbery we have new cars.
Sideways yo!

....You are so right about plate snobbery, Mike.

I'm a different kind of plate snob: VW = Volkswagen / 05 = Mk5 / RED = Red is the colour of my.............  car! I would transfer it for a laugh to any other VAG car including a Lambo (I wish!!).

An IQ test as part of the driving exam.

I can't abide stupid people at the best of times and to give them a licence to drive a vehicle is just asking for trouble IMO.

Hi IQ doesn't mean they aren't stupid. I work with a couple of people with really high IQ's and they are completely lacking in common sense!
