Why do we have such crap wheel choice in Europe?
« on: June 30, 2012, 08:50:57 pm »

the BBS REs have caught my fancy, but at around £4k for a set i think not  :rolleye:

Think you just answered you're own question there!
I suspect that the Asian and Americans are prepared to spend big to get the kudos, while us Brit and yurpeens are more prone to a "budget" choice.

ah but see they don't cost that much in the USA for example.

plus if they were sold here you wouldn't have to pay a premium for their rarity, or shipping and import duty

I've contacted a couple of UK companies. I don't think you'd get any change from £3.5k but at least they'll fit properly 18x8 ET43
