clunking on turning wheel
« on: July 05, 2012, 09:43:47 am »
I was parked on a kerbed area yesterday and drove off - it seemed to be quite high and I think I scraped something as I came on to the road. Today whilst driving to work and parking up, I twice noticed a very loud clunk when turning the wheel to the right. It was loud enough to make me think there was something very wrong.

No idea what I've might have damaged - does anyone have any ideas? The wheels look okay and fill the arches equally with no obvious problems.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
