Golf V 2.0 TDI GT - Strange noise at idle - help needed

Hey Guys,
Finally got round to joining instead of just reading the threads haha!
Got a bit of a problem that's just come up last night. I've scanned the car but no codes are coming up for it.
The engine has started making a strange noise when idling which I've managed to grab a video of to kind of help you hear, in a strange way it sounds like a kettle when boiling. After around 1,500/2,000rpm you can't really hear it any more, thing is I'm away in Poole at the minute and have to make the 245 mile trip back up to Manchester in a few days so just wondering how serious this might be and if it's worth dropping by a local garage or just waiting till I'm back home and get mine to get the problem looked at as I'm booked in just after I get back anyway.
 

 
Any ideas on what it could potentially be would be a great help, thanks for your help in advance guys!

For my money that's the Dual Mass Flywheel at the end of its maintenance free life - do a bit YouTube viewing and see if you agree!

It will do the return trip.

That would make sense actually, it's had a terrible grinding noise for the past few weeks when using the clutch and I was under the suspicion that the DMF was on its way out and I've already been shopping around for a replacement DMF and clutch kit and wondering about the whole SMF conversion being worth it or not!

The smf is worth doing if your going to start running a bigger turbo over 220bhp
