Hello
« on: July 11, 2012, 08:26:34 am »
Hi all, had a problem getting registered but got here in the end.

Just bought a Pirelli Edition GTI about 4 weeks ago and already have it stage 2+ after a fortnight. Subsequently done the clutch in (pedal stuck half way then went to the floor while doing a spot of spirited driving) and after being off the road for a week while VW checked it out (new master cylinder) and fitted a single mass sachs conversion i got it back on Friday  Got a bit of chatter on over run but will post about that in the appropriate place.

Had a look around and looks like a nice friendly place with plenty of experiances to draw on,so will be hanging around hope no one minds.
Pirelli Edition:- APR stage 2+ map,Revo/BSH intake,Autotech hpfp internals,3" downpipe & de-cat,Sachs uprated clutch with smf conversion,H&R springs,race spec superpro polly bushes. 348bhp 360lbft.

only pics i have just after we got it. Needs a proper detail.

As for the rest we went for Revo map,Revo induction,Autotech pump internals,Cheap 3" down pipe and de-cat on to the standard system. This is temp just now as had planned on a Pipe Werx system but the master cylinder had other ideas.

Welcome along

The last what i would call a keeper car we had was a B6 S4 that we sold just over a year ago to put a deposit on a house. I also have a Mk2 ED1 G60 that was running a 3.2 tucked up in the garage undergoing some reworking and new heart. The daily hack is my octavia vrs taxi.

ED1

Ready to move house as it is now

I wish it was from loads of playing. The master cylinder decided not to play ball just after the mapping and the clutch pedal didnt return and stopped at half way (slipping the clutch) which i never noticed till i went to put it into 3rd and it went to the floor. By then the damage was done.
