Which head unit ???

Hi guys I want to upgrade my head unit & iv been looking on here but there are a few different types....

What's the difference between the RCD 300... RCD 510... & RNS 510...???

Also which is the best one out of these is there any faults with these head units ???

This helped me buddy! I went for the RCD510 as I wouldn't use Navi and all the extra bits and it was cheaper and easier to fit  :happy2:

Also don't forget if you upgrade to Newer ones (RNS510,RCD510 etc) you need to update the Canbus gateway and aireal adapter  :happy2:

U have to upgrade ur canbus only if u have version L or lower.
It can be done without aerial adapter.

GTi E30 what HU do you currently have. I would have thought you already had the RCD300 or RCD500.

The best upgrade option to go for is either the RCD510 or RNS510 depending on whether you want navigation or not.

I upgraded my RCD500 to the RNS510 18 months ago (1 month after getting the GTI) and have to say it was well worth it :happy2:
