Regards from Macedonia ;)
« on: July 09, 2012, 08:55:57 am »
Hi guys, :drinking:
I'm from Macedonia and I'm building a Golf MK2 Rallye with a Haldex rer diff and a K04 2.0 tfsi engine which i plan to push to 500+ hp with Revo Stage 4.
I joined this community as I see It's a perfect place for gathering info on the 2.0 tfsi engine. Because this is an MK5 GTI forum I will not post mu build.

A Very Warm Welcome!

I notice you have recently 'Liked' my RedRobin Music page on Facebook - Thanks!  :drinking:

Is Skopje part of Greece or Yugo? My mother was Greek and I know there's been a bloody history. Many Greeks weren't allowed back into their homeland due to fear of Communism. In fact, I once got shot at in southern Yugoslavia while stealing grapes from a guarded vineyard, but that's a long story. I will say that when screamed at in Greek, the guard, who was an exiled Greek, broke down crying.

Sounds like a real beast you are building!

A warm welcome from me too....

I'm from Greece and I want to make a point about the Macedonian issue.

It's a political "game" and nothing more.

We, the people of Greece, have absolutely nothing to argue about with the people of Skopje or Macedonia or whatever they want to call their country.

So.....

Again a very warm welcome from me.

I also own a Mk2 (with an AEK 1.6 engine from Mk3) and I love this car...!!!

Keep up and........ :worthless:

That's what I thought they may be like, although it's about 30 years since I travelled any of those roads. Yugo was all dirt roads except the Autoput. I'll never forget going through a rough-cut unlit tunnel on a dirt road and a steam train coming the other way with nothing between 'road' and the railway track!! That was over 40 years ago.
