Hi, Jetta soon to be Jetta GTI

Hi guys, been looking around the forum recently and finally got round to joining up today.
I've got a 1.6 FSI jetta but hopefully soon will be making it into a GTI.
So any ways a couple of pics of what it looks like at the moment!

Hi yeah twas me! 

It most certainly is a US tailgate, and yes I plan on doing myself I'm a senior Mazda tech so it's no problem mechanical wise, I'd appreciate any input from anyone who's done it on a golf though for what I'd need from the donor vehicle, main one being can I use the same fuse board?

Which engine you putting in then?
