I have in my 6R Polo and it fits okay even with the bluetooth unit in there. The bluetooth unit needs to sit flat below the RNS 510 but this can only be done by cutting off the two screw holding brackets and fixing it in place with Velcro instead. A bit Heath Robinson, but looks okay. The RNS unit itself fits straight in. There is some coding to be done with the speakers and the rear parking sensors if you have them, otherwise it is pretty much plug and play.
Golf R gone.

Hi Thank you,

I am a proper novice so please bear with me , My boy is getting a new Polo R-line it now comes with built in BT from the factory , Is it going to be any different from the above , I looked for the RNS-310 that is fitted to the Polo and then searched RNS-510 and found one fitted to a Polo  this is why I asked the question on here .

Next question what would need to be coded  and who could do this  thx
